Somewhere in tha Middle is a collaboration of wits and intellects aimed at dissecting and illuminating a myriad of issues from the perspective of two middle aged, educated, hood girls from the South. We represent the middle ground between most of life's opposite descriptions: young and old, sane and crazy, good and evil, short and tall, fat and fatter, poor and comfortable, sweet and savage, intellectual and ghetto, articulate and I'll cuss you tf out in a heartbeat so don't try me.

Angie and Nikki met about 16 years ago, and have been friends ever since. At the time, Angie was working in the telecommunications industry while earning an MBA from St. Thomas University, and Nikki was a public school educator earning her MA in psychology from Texas Southern University. The friendship was born in various clubs and bars in the Houston area, but it was raised and nurtured through sharing life's experiences: jobs, careers, vacations, raising kids, marriages, divorces, births and deaths. Now, as they venture into middle age, separated by thousands of miles, they're as close as ever, and ready to take their private side-show of hilarious yet insightful insights and antics into the spotlight.
